Knitworthy

Last night Karin saw some bits and pieces I'd knit, made very flattering appreciative cries of delight, and asked if she could have them. I told her no, they were for a specific purpose.

"But they're in my colors!" she protested.

Yes, I could see that, now that she mentioned it. They did use her favorite colors. I promised to knit her some drink cozies using those colors... sometime. She tried to pin me down to a date. I evaded. She smiled sweetly and said she'd wait.

So today while teaching grammar and algebra and spelling, I knit three drink cozies for Karin.

Because it's very exciting to have such an ardent fan of my knitting.
