If I remember correctly from when I had the Mason-Dixon book out of the library, it doesn't comment on circular lengths. For both a border and a shawl that I tried I probably should have had a longer circular needle. For the border I ended up substituting crochet. For the shawl I revised the latter part of the directions, decreasing instead of continuing the increases and making a small blanket.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29057870.post-58130755566537231732009-08-09T12:12:13.070-05:002009-08-09T12:12:13.070-05:00That turned out SO beautifully. I used Addi Turbo circular needles in US size 8.Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17775836987596716063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29057870.post-12090282965683410922009-08-04T09:24:25.407-05:002009-08-04T09:24:25.407-05:00What a beautiful blanket! I made a "Mason-Dixon Moderne" baby blanket, and towards the end of the project the interchangeable circular needles I was using popped apart several times.

This gorgeous blanket is a such a meaningful gift for your daughter, I think it is destined to become a family heirloom.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29057870.post-35897314601922126142009-08-04T03:31:35.594-05:002009-08-04T03:31:35.594-05:00Gorgeous!
