Lake time

We have been been blessed with warmer than normal temperatures for the past two or three days - perfect for spending afternoons at the lake with the children.

After swimming Hayley wanted to make a volcano, so several aunts and uncles joined in to help her.

Marley later added red clay down the side of the volcano to be the lava.

It's hard to believe you can still go to the lake dressed like that in October. I'm still warming up from being in New York this weekend, but it is supposed to be in the upper seventies in PA tomorrow. :-)

It's getting cooler now. Night time temps are in the low 60's to 50's, and daytime highs are upper 70's. Yesterday we went to the lake after church and it was windy and chilly, even though the sun was shining. Our summer days are definitely over!
