Cold day - no heat pump

The title tells it all. The heat pump is not working and it's 38 degrees outside. The low last night was 20; tonight's low is supposed to be 21 degrees. We are loving the fireplace, and are doing all schoolwork and lounging around in the living room.

Jacy has a basketball game tonight. I think Mom and Dad are going to go watch her play. Sarah and Joan will probably go also. I'll bet that drafty old rec center gym will be warmer than our house!

BRRRRR! That 21 here this morning sure 'nuff WAS cold, wasn't it?! I can't imagine dealing with it with no heat, you poor things!

This afternoon's 50 wasn't a whole lot better, though, I thinking. Brrrrr. Hope you get heat back real soon!

Thanks, Melanie and Donna for your concern! The heat pump was repaired last night and we had lovely warmth! Steve and I agreed this morning that waking up in a warm house is a blessing we won't take for granted again.
