A time to plan
It's time - actually, it's past time - for me to plan the lessons for the upcoming year. I hope to be done with it by the end of the month. Email me or call me if you need something from me.

O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good inheritance. ~Psalm 16:5,6.

What grades/ages are you teaching this year? I've got 8th, 5th, 3rd and K (not that we really "do" K but you know what I mean).
Good luck.
Thanks, I'll need it!
I'm teaching 11th, 10th, 7th, 4th, and K this year. And yeah, K for us is really just teach 'em to read, teach 'em to cipher.
Wow! Sounds intimidating to me... but as I get closer and closer to high school, I get more comfortable with it. Honestly though, I feel a bit relieved that my oldest is going to school for 9th grade this year, even though I had hoped to always have him home.
This will be my first year homeschooling without a toddler in the house so it should be a bit calmer... a bit maybe.
I admire you for homeschooling. It is a devoted job. I watch my 2 grandchildren while my daughter works. They are 1 /12 & 3 yrs. Where could I find lessons to start teaching the, Thanks for the help
You are thinking the same and I am! I actually did venture into our schoolroom (storage are for the last 2 months) and found the history books that I needed to work out of to do some organizing for school. I found my Well Trained Mind book and then headed to the beach to "work". I love your bookshelves.......what is it about full bookshelves that makes my heart flutter :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog, I needed a different template to get the comments fixed, it's working now!
How is the cottage?
