Ribby Cardi

I think the Peruvian Highland Wool from elann.com was specifically spun for Bonne Marie Burn's Ribby Cardi. It is a perfect match - so perfect that I hope to knit 5 of these cardigans between now and February.

Here's the back of the one I'm knitting for Jacy:

And I'm just about done with the fronts, also:

Looks great! You're ambitious to knit five of them! Hope you enjoy each one as much as the first.

Well, none of them are for me, and I'll be using different colors with each one, so I should find it akin to knitting socks, since I use the same basic pattern for all my socks.

Three are for my older daughters, and two are for my daughters-in-law.

Is this pattern from Interweave and knit in a burnt orange color? Does it have a collar? It is really pretty.

No, Meg, this pattern is one by Bonne Marie Burns, but she gives different variations for the collar, and different variations for the body. I think I'll stick to the basic stockinette for the body and the rolled edge collar for all of them, though.

I'm enjoying it so far, and it makes a change from the Everyday Cardigan, of which I've knit 5.
