Dad's cardigan is almost done

Here they are: One back, two fronts, and two sleeves - knitted, blocked, and ready to have ends woven in. Then I'll seam the shoulders and knit the button and buttonhole bands and collar, then seam up sides and sleeves.

Here's all the yarn I have left to do all those tasks... .

Hope you find more yarn soon!

I just wanted to indroduce myself. I've seen your blog off and on for a while and really enjoy it. We have a lot in common, and now after the Dick Francis post I just had to say, "Hi!".

Blessings to you (and more yarn),
Julie

Thanks, Julie! (I'm having trouble leaving a comment on your blog - I enjoyed reading about your trip to Kenya. A cousin of mine has been there twice now - first for a pleasure trip, then back because the people had captured her heart. She gathered material for the school in a village where she had stayed and went back on a personal mission trip.)

I'm glad to hear from a Dick Francis reader - and yes, more yarn is on the way from Patternworks, but I ordered it almost 2 weeks ago now, so I'm going to forge ahead with the dinky amount I have remaining and pray for the best!

Looks great! I love cables... and you're doing a fabulous job!

I'm glad Julie found you. She's a local friend of mine and also an avid reader. I knew you two would hit it off! :)

Hmmm... Maybe I can borrow a Dick Francis book from Julie.
