Love Over Scotland
This is the third book in Alexander McCall Smith's Scotland Street series. Perhaps because I read it immediately after I finished Espresso Tales I found it a bit disappointing. Pat's life is changing direction and Domenica's friend, Antonia, was too odd. On the other hand, Lard O'Connor is back; Irene is just as brash, bossy and abrasive as ever; and Domenica's pirates are... modern.
I'm looking forward to The World According to Bertie.

You read way too fast for me :)
McCall Smith's books are addictive for me. Once begun, I can't put them down until I've read to the end.
Everytime I go to the bookstore, I look at McCall's books but go back and forth on whether or not to read them. I thought I might try one for the cozy mystery challenge. Do you have a favorite?
Wow...60 to 70 PGW's. That is wonderful. The internet has been indispensable in finding hard to get copies, and even in just finding complete lists of his works. Which bios did you read? I am reading the Donaldson one and, while it is full of interesting tidbits, I am having a hard time getting through it. I was just wondering which bio you liked best.
Have you read any of the books by Richard Usborne? I thought I might try one of his next.
I just finished "the World According to Bertie." I think you will like it. I have not looked at your blog in awhile - I will have to catch up.
Book Psmith, if you are just starting his books, I'd recommend going to Africa with "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency," my favorite series.
I don't say it often, but I always love your book reviews. I'm currently reading Atlas Shrugged and at this rate it's going to take me the next couple months to get through.
