Memorial Day

I am grateful to all that have served our country in the armed forces. One cousin died in Vietnam. All of my uncles served in Europe in WWII. My mother's father served in the Pacific theater in WWII. My father's father served in France in WWI. Several friends have died in service in recent years.

Thank you all for sacrificing to protect my freedom.

I have three nephews in the Army right now; my father served briefly in the Air Force; both grandfathers - Army WWII; one uncle was in the Navy; my Marine connections are in the form of neighbors, one of whom served on the Saratoga.

There are many to remember.

I think the men and women serving their country deserve to get the appreciation you show in this post, It's a tough job they're doing isn't it?
