Squares into blocks
Joan and I moved squares around trying various combinations. After several tries we came up with a plan she liked. Now I'll seam and after I have the blocks completed, we'll decide in what order they'll be for the finished product.

Looks wonderful! I've seen instructions for knitting the mitered squares in blocks in order to save on seaming, but then the flexibility of choosing color combos for blocks at this stage is lost. The overall color scheme probably comes out better with the square-by-square and more seaming-intense method.
That is going to be a very lovely blanket. Your use of colours clash and yet looks so very right together. Looking forward to seeing it all finished x

It's going to be wonderful! What yarn are you using again?
Tammy, I'm using Galway worsted weight wool by Plymouth. The pattern in Mason Dixon Knitting called for mercerized cotton yarn, which is gorgeous, but Joan wanted wool because it would be warmer and the weight would be lighter.
