Definitely worth the wait

When we moved into this house with its three outbuildings Steve said to me, "You're going to have a yarn studio where you can sew and spin and knit."

That was five years and many plans ago. Earlier this week Steve moved his office to another outbuilding. I scrubbed his former space. David, Marley, Sam, Steve and I moved furniture, bins, and books yesterday. Today I have a yarn studio.

Now the question is, how often can I get out there?

What a lovely spot to call your very own! I love how you have surrounded yourself with color. I must come for a visit; we'll chat and make things while baby pulls books off the shelves.

Sounds like a great plan. Let's do it! (And maybe we'll crochet some more of those booties.)

Oh, wow! My sisters and I would LOVE to have a studio like that for our art and yarn projects. For the moment, we have to borrow the guest house rooms.

The lady who taught us how to knit calls her workshop her "Play House". :-)

oh, that's soooo exciting! I have turquoise walls in my laundry room and that's such an energizing, feel-good color for me. I hope it proves to be the same for you too.

I dearly wish I had several outbuildings, too. Fat chance in the city.

Oh Laura! That's FANTASTIC! To have your own space must feel like the most exciting thing. And the colour you've chosen for the walls is gorgeous. Love Vanessa xxx

I LOVE this! And I loved your daughters letter to her unborn baby as well. "His grace is sufficient. Really, it is, isn't it?" Love, Julie
