Ferns are up
David and I found the chains and hooks and the porch is ready to enjoy. (Well, once all the pollen stops it will be ready to enjoy!)

O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good inheritance. ~Psalm 16:5,6.

Beautiful! We just put ours up too, and there is already a nest with 5 eggs in it in one of them. Crazy birds!!
I'm afraid that might happen to us, too! For the past two year little wrens have build nests in our ferns, forcing us to water carefully and shoo the cats away.
What a lovely porch!
You're porch is absolutely beautiful!! I need to get better at posting to my blog. You're so disciplined!
Oh my! Your home is our dream home! It is just beautiful! And your ferns look gorgeous.
I've just been reading down your blog entries, and thinking with each one, oh lovely, must leave a comment about that, and then I scroll on down and see another post that is just as gorgeous! I can see I'm going to need a cup of tea and some quiet time to go through all your posts! I love your blog! And the picture of the ice cream balls below! It's all a joy, and I feel very excited at the prospect of reading the rest of your blog. I love your mitred squres, makes me want to do them myself.
Thanks so much for your comment on my blog, and I'm very pleased to have found such a wonderful fellow tea enthusiast!
Love Vanessa xxx (do you mind if i knit)
