Tiny hat for a tiny baby

A baby girl that was due in July was born two weeks ago. I'd already crocheted a blanket for her, but I wanted to make a hat or two also. The pattern I used was one Penny gave me years ago from the Fiber Factory.

I took the aqua hat and the blanket to the baby's mama yesterday, and I have a lavender hat on the needles to finish today.

I'm praying that sweet little K grows so quickly she'll barely have time to wear the caps!

How very sweet of you.... it will be a tender reminder of Baby K's size :)

I saw a neat news article recently. It detailed the successful lives of ten teenagers... all born prematurely.

It was especially encouraging.

PS Love the rooster table!

It is hard to imagine a baby so tiny!

Good eyes regarding the table. I bought it because I loved the words all over it - then I got it home and saw that it also had a rooster! Talk about not seeing the forest for the trees...
