An embarrassment of riches

A few days ago I received SIX (!) books by Anthony Trollope through PaperBackSwap. I have three other books by other writers I must read before I can begin any one of these, but like a miser with his gold, I keep bringing out the books to count and hold and dream over.

While I enjoyed my initial introduction to Trollope, I'm putting him on hold in favor of Augusta Janes Evans, a Southerner who championed Southern and Confederate ideals.

Her novels are rather long, so it may be a while before I post a review.

What a sweet deal! We almost decided on a Trollope novel for our next book club read, but ended up going for something a little shorter.

Dana, the only novel by Augusta Jane Evans I've read is St. Elmo. I'll be looking forward to reading your reviews of any of her novels.

Sarah, there are quite a few short Trollope novels out there!

I joined Paperback Swap a few days ago. I think I'm going to enjoy the riches from it too. Also, I like finding appreciative new owners for some of my used books. - Lora
