looks good and I clicked on your link for pasties, but it didn't take me anywhere. help! I want to see how hard it might be to create them because I adore anything British and anything with a crust :)
Sorry about that, Margo! I think I have it fixed now, but if not, the recipe is very simple and easy to make:
1 round steak, cut into cubes
6 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 onion sliced and separated into rings
4 pie crusts
butter
salt
pepper
In two pie pans lined with pie crusts layer meat, potatoes, onion rings. Dot with chunks of butter. Add salt and pepper. Cover with two more pie crusts. Vent upper crust with a few knife or fork holes. Place both pies in 350 degree oven and bake for 45 minutes. Serve with salad or green vegetable. The leftovers are even better the next day, eaten cold!
Glad I came back ~ in search of that recipe which I hope to try soon ;-)
