The trip was nice and it's good to be home again
The company put us up in a first-class resort. I knitted a linen shawl while we were in Cancun, read a lot, enjoyed friends, ate great food, and shopped for souvenirs for the children. Steve swam in the ocean, read a lot, and cheerfully walked around town with me. Unfortunately he was very sick for most of our stay there, so he did not get to do many of the activities he'd hoped to enjoy. And he couldn't eat - poor guy!
We stayed at the Fiesta Americana. The staff there were amazing people. I think we could have never left the resort and been perfectly content.

Is that you *reading and knitting* at the same time. That's quite a feat!
Welcome home.

I just love the color of the sky and water. Too bad your husband was sick. Sounds like you guys made the best of it though and still enjoyed yourselves. Welcome home.
Oh, I hope Steve's feeling better! What a time to get ill. :-(
What a beautiful place! I think I could be there for a month and never have any desire to leave.
Welcome home. You missed all the nasty, cold weather - good timing!

Wow! What a neat place to be. I'm glad you had fun.
Welcome home! What a great picture of you truly enjoying life!
The water is so blue! It looks beautiful. I hope Steve's all better too.
Thanks for the welcome home!
Yes, Dana, I was knitting and reading The World Is Flat - it needed the knitting to make it more readable!
The water was gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time gazing at it and watching the pelicans.
Thank you all for your sympathy for Steve. He's finally feeling better. (It was the food he ate at a restaurant Friday night - 5 others in our party also were stricken.)
Welcome home! What a beautiful place! (Wait, I meant that Cancun looks beautiful, but HOME is even more so!)
Gorgeous water. What a color!
Beautiful photos, Laura, thanks for sharing them! :0)
